ATTENTION, TEACHERS!
Bring your pre-school and elementary classes to Carter Mountain Orchard for a fun and educational fall field trip. Field Trips are scheduled Monday through Friday, from early September till late October.
Do any or all of these activities on a Carter Mountain Field Trip:
- Attend “Apple School” – learn about the workings of a real apple orchard, and a year in the life of an apple tree (“Seed to Seed”).
- Self Guided Educational Stations on peach trees, honeybees, native animal and local agriculture.
- Pick Your Own Apples, right off the trees
- Take a scenic wagon ride around the mountain
- Take home a mini-jack pumpkin or gourd
- Have a sample cup of cider and an apple cider donut
- Enjoy our gorgeous views and a day in the great outdoors
- Take home a coloring book and GREAT MEMORIES of the day!
