Scouting Day - 2011 Peach Picking Day
Carter Mountain Orchard presents our annual summer scout celebration - Peach Picking Day!! This is a fun and educational event for both Girl and Boy Scouts. All scouts will receive a Carter Mountain Orchard Participation Patch. Girl Scout Brownies will be able to earn the requirements for the “Eco-Explorer Try-it” and Juniors will be able to earn the requirements for the "Earth Connections Badge". To make the day especially memorable, participants take a hayride and pick a small bag of peaches to take home!
Lunch may be purchased separately at our Mountain Grille, or you may bring a picnic lunch.

Scouting Day - 2011 Apple Harvest Day
Carter Mountain Orchard presents our annual Scouting Apple Harvest Day!! This is a fun and educational event for both Girl and Boy Scouts. Everyone will have the opportunity to experience a working orchard. All scouts will be able to take home a Carter Mountain Orchard participation Patch. Girl Scout Brownies will be able to earn the requirements for the “Math Fun Try-it” and Juniors will be able to earn the requirements for the "Math Whiz Badge". To make the day especially fun, participants will be take a hayride and pick a small bag of apples to take home!
