Finally!  After a warm winter, cold spring, and the extended freeze at Easter, the strawberries are now in full bloom and will ripen soon!  They are a bit later than usual this year, and we are as eager as you Chiles Peach Orchard will open on Friday, May 18th at 9AM.  Come Pick Your Own strawberries, or buy them already picked!  We will have fresh veggies, jams and jellies, and our delicious frozen yogurt, too. 

 

Those who live close by may have already noticed the new construction going on behind our current market in Crozet.  We are excited to be building a larger facility to serve you better!  It's due to be completed this summer - we will have expanded display space (plus some much-needed storage) and be able to offer more items.  We'll keep you posted on the progress.

We appreciate the many phone calls and e-mails we received from our customers during the"Easter Freeze of 2007".  We pulled many "all-nighters" in the orchards, trying to protect our crops.  While we did experience some damage, there will still be plenty of fruit for your picking pleasure this season.   We are grateful for your concern, and look forward to seeing you soon!
